We are feeling that crunch too with the gas prices also comes problems with finding volunteers who are willing to come work with us. Our rural departments here in Caldwell County are struggling, too. Apparently they have asked the county to increase their contributions, and are battling with people stealing their trucks and joyriding. Please, if you can, support these guys - they do what they do for free, and depend on our financial contributions to protect us.
