Didn't commit libel. Explained why above. I will give you the post numbers again if you need them.
The only one who has committed libel on this thd is The Sage with his unfounded talk about "criminal records."
Actually, the newspaper and its sources in the police department have probably for and by that article committed various forms of defamation against Marko Burton, but I don't see how it could have done much harm to his reputation because he did so much harm to his own reputation by fleeing the officer and posessing mj (if he really did possess mj).

You didn't commit libel by accusing the officer of committing a felony, but Sage committed libel by asking you if you have committed crimes?

Hahahahha! That's hilarious!! Finch, you never disappoint! Just when I think you couldn't get any dumber!!
So it's supposedly LIBEL for me to suggest you were probably arrested and ask you if it's true. You, an anonymous person with no legal claim to your screen name believes THAT is libel, but YOU accusing a REAL PERSON that YOU HAVE NAMED of filing a false police report, which is a FELONY is not libel?? Are you kidding??? You really expect us to believe you went to law school with that kind of idiotic logic?? Saying things about make believe screen names is libel, saying worse things about a real person isn't libel?? Wow!!!
Let me repeat that again! You are an anonymous person with no claim to your screen name. Anyone else could start using it tomorrow. Suggesting you, an anonymous screen name you have no claim to, has probably been arrested is so far from libel it's not even in the same time zone! For you to suggest it is libel, but deny YOU accusing a real person of committing an actual felony act is libel just shows how ignorant of the law you really are.
Finch, that was especially dumb, even for you.

Because the Villa Rica police department does a very poor job in publishing exactly how much it receives in federal funds on a year by year basis. The only reason we know they got money in 2003 is because they misappropriated half a million of it that year. Hopefully now that we have a black President, better records will start to be published, but this should not detract from the basic point that Yankees indeed foot a large part of the bill for out of control police in the Deep South. I am surprised that this surprises you.

You must have been frightened at an early age by a southern trooper. Only that would explain the idiotic comments you're making.

Also, don't even begin to put yourself in the same category as all Yankees. The is not a matter of North vs. South. It's a matter of respect and integrity, something you obviously know nothing about.

I didn't research it to death. I am not going to. I know the Villa Rica PD gets a lot of federal money. I knew this before I looked it up. I just gave you a quick link to show how silly it was to suggest that they were not getting money. If how much they are getting makes a difference in your opinions somehow, then do your own research. Personally, I am confident that they get a share of my tax money. See if you can prove to me otherwise.

You did as you always do......you found the item that supported what you want us to believe and posted it. It isn't up to me to prove otherwise when you've not proven your point AT ALL nor when your retainer for my research services has not been recieved.

Well, I seem to have shut Finch up. I am guessing it won't be permanent. Making him look really stupid only shuts him up briefly.

I am surprised that this surprises you. This is one of your dumbest comments. First, what does his race have to do with anything? For you to say such a thing shows your ignorance. Oh, and I voted for Obama before you get any more stupid ideas. I wanted him for President long before most people even knew who he was. I admired the man, not his color. It's shame you see his color before his qualities. But I guess that just goes to show what kind of prejudiced person you are. Second, don't act like upstate NY is some chic, sophisticated mecca for intellectuals, the elite, and international jet setters. Upstate NY has been economically depressed for quite some time. And the last time I was there, I saw more confederate flags than I ever have in the south. So how about you show us some real data on how much money upstate NY is supposedly sending down here? You make grand claims. Back them up!

However, some people in upstate NY are making money (like me) and we still are helping pay for Villa Rica's pd and all the other ones down there, too, with our federal tax money.
