I have never heard of hispanics being there, I'd double check. I heard germans were held there for years after the war was over. Great, more money being spent to show how bad American and whites were during WW2. Lets white wash everything else as well. Oh wait, it already has been.

It is a bit misleading since Hispanic is a culture, not a race. There were both alleged and real Axis sympathizers of Japanese, German, and Italian descent in Latin America and many of these were deported to the US and Canadian internment camps during the war. The German community in Argentina alone had fascists there both before and after the war of German background, but those would be considered "Hispanic" in a broad sense (some even going by Spanish names). |
