Larry Wilson: Burden was poetry in motion
“I was sorry to hear of Jean's death. She was a warm and gifted person. She wrote fine poetry and was one of poetry's best advocates and was a true friend to me. I will miss her.”

I treasured Ms. Burden's work in Yankee magazine for many years and will both mourn her passing and treasure the words she left behind.
