The body of a 12-year-old boy who went missing after a recreational day on a dam in Geysdorp, North West, at the weekend has been found, police said on Wednesday. The boy, along with four others boys aged between 12 and 13, fell from a tube that was being pulled by a boat on Sunday, the SA Police Service's official Facebook page stated.
Johannesburg The Klerksdorp Magistrate's Court denied bail on Monday morning to a woman who fraudulently misrepresented herself to unsuspecting small business owners in the North West province. DWS spokesperson Sputnik Ratau said the lifting of the water restrictions followed the recent rains that flowed into the Integrated Vaal River System , consisting of 14 dams which mainly serve Gauteng. "The IVRS has been increasing week on week and was at 95.9 percent as per the readings in March 06. Johannesburg Robbers tortured a 64-year-old woman with a drill when they attacked her at her home on a farm in the Vaal area on Friday night, police said. Spokesperson Lt-Col Lungelo Dlamini said she was attacked by three men on the farm on the Kalbasfontein road between Fochville and Carletonville.
