Dozens of children descended on the Guildhall in Hull today to show off their business acumen at an event celebrating their enterprising skills. Teams form 14 different schools who have been working with numerous businesses across the city came together to share how they fared in this year's Make A 5 Blossom Challenge.

A seven-year-old girl who was hit by a car on a busy road in Bransholme is in hospital after fracturing her leg in two places. Christiana Fraser was in agony after she lost her footing on an island in the middle of Wawne Road and was clipped by a car at around 6pm last night.
