Panto season is coming early to Wyllyotts Theatre in Potters Bar this Sunday, as The Vienna Festival Ballet is presenting the timeless fairytale, Snow White. Based on the traditional Brothers' Grimm story, Snow White goes on a journey through a magical world, where in a more modern twist she meets seven hip-hopping dwarves, an enchanted mirror and a poisoned apple, before finding her Prince Charming.

A direct rail link between Watford and St Albans could be ripped up and converted into a concrete "busway", in what campaigners have labelled a "disastrous" move. An essential gas mains revamp is taking place in Luton, as the National Grid replace the town's ageing mains. The existing iron gas mains will be replaced with tough new plastic pipes that will last for at least 80 years once they are in the ground.
Luton Borough Council has clarified the deadline for public comments on Luton Town's planning applications for Power Court and Newlands Park. The council has been bombarded with more than 4,000 responses since the schemes were validated on Friday, August 26. If approved the Power Court application would see Hatters in a new 17,500-seater stadium where there would also be a music/entertainment venue, cafes/bars/restaurants, 500+ apartments, and hotel facilities.
