PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission has nabbed four high-level personnel from Felda under its Ops Caviar over alleged corruption. The four were detained by MACC between 11.30am and 1.30pm in several locations around the Klang Valley on Tuesday.

KLANG: Shah Alam MP Khalid Samad may lose his seat after the Klang Lower Syariah Court fined him RM2,900 for teaching Islam without accreditation. According to Article 48 of the Federal Constitution, elected representatives will lose their seats in the event they are convicted and fined not less than RM2,000 and slapped with a jail term of not less than one year.

PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission has nabbed another big fish a suspect with a "Datuk" title who is the acting chief executive officer of a government-linked company . The suspects, aged 58 and 36, were arrested under a sting operation dubbed Ops Guinea by a team of MACC officers at about noon on Thursday.
