It makes you wonder what brought this child to such an act. It couldn't be simple punishment, there had to have been some bad abuse going on. I feel so bad for the boy and the girl having to go through this.

What about the poor man who was shot? Did you read the article? It states the father had custody of the children because the MOTHER had previously been charged with either negligence or abuse of the kid(s)---not the dad. Whatever the curcumstances may have been, this kid needs to be held accountable for his actions. Many children have been abused beyond belief and have not turned to murdering anyone---it's NO EXCUSE!

Yes, I understand that a man was shot, what I don't understand is what pushed a child to do something like that. Your right, there are many abused kids out there that do not kill, maybe this should wake those abusers up.
