This story gets wilder and wilder each time it is told. It appears to be an all-too-common story of an aging degenerate and a horny, kinky, slightly chubby teenage girl who sought a radical departure from her boring life, and accompanied said degenerate to Albuquerque to use each other in fulfilling their bondage/domination fantasies through sexual acts and photography. Much worse things were done by Detective Timothy Chavez of the Albuquerque P.D. who VIOLENTLY RAPED a FOURTEEN (14) YEAR OLD GIRL at her own home, and BCSO Deputy Darryl Burt, who RAPED TEENAGE BOYS AT GUNPOINT. Apparently, statutory rape is much more heinous than VIOLENT RAPE, especially when the violent rape is perpetrated by a New Mexico Law Enforcement Officer. Deputy Darryl Burt did LESS THAN TWO YEARS at Metro Detention Center (not even New Mexico Prison!), and the typical imbecilic jury that sat on Timothy Chavez's case could not come to a unanimous decision. That case ended up in a hung jury. What's even more infuriating in the case of Darryl Burt is that former DA Robert M. Schwartz apparently "mistakenly" destroyed evidence which Burt would have needed for an appeal- thus the light sentence. Regardless, Deputy Darryl Burt was RELEASED TO HIS FATHER pending his appeal, during which time FEDERAL AUTHORITIES FOUND HIM (AFTER HE HAD BEEN CONVICTED OF A COUPLE OF FELONIES) IN POSSESSION OF LARGE QUANTITIES OF DRUGS, CASH, AND A FIREARM ALONG WITH A 16 YEAR OLD BOY IN HIS UNDERWEAR at his Father's home. The Feds cheerfully sentenced him to also LESS THAN TWO (2) YEARS' CONFINEMENT CONCURRENT, i.e. AT THE SAME TIME, as his LESS THAN TWO (2) YEARS CONFINEMENT FOR HIS RAPING TEENAGE BOYS AT GUNPOINT. Isn't the Albuquerque Criminal Justice System grand?
