Some of my family were assumed to be Loyalist to the English Crown.I wasn't there to determine the accusations made against My Great Great Grand mothers son Parker Wickham. General George Washington who became the first President sent his spies to purchase her son's Robin Island in NY after NY seized the Island snd other properties with an act of attainer. George Washinton marched through Woodbridge an down St George Avenue never knowing that someday I a descendant of Parker Wickham's parents would be born at Perth Amboy Hospital a town once controlled by the British.

Folks you can't make this stuff up. After my Aunt Dot's daughter inlaw traced my family back to George Wickham 1801-1854 buried in St Joseph Catholic Cemetery in West Milford she stopped with a question of whether Daniel Wickham 1771-1853 was George Wickham's father. I checked several sites an found indeed Daniel Wickham was George's father. This match permitted me to go back to Thomas Wickham 1624-1688 who came with his brother Richard from England in 1639 with Rev Ezekiel Rodgers on the Ship John from London.
