OMG TriblyKat, He's gorgeous or as Steve Irwin would say, he's a real beauty:)(RIP Steve). We rescued what we thought was a momma kitty and her 5 kittens, well it turned out it was the pappa. Anyway I kept papa and one of the kittens, female and her name is squeeze cause all you want to do with her is just squeeze her cause she's so sweet and adorable. Well my other neighbor who helped us catch the litter also kept one and he came down from the wood pile all on his own right up to her and she said this one is mine. And he looks just like your fluffinator:) Brown and white with beautiful markings. His name is Mr. T for trouble:) Do you have anymore pics of him? Hug him for me please:)

Ah, thank you! He is a sweetie pie. Mr. T - hee hee - what a great name. And Squeeze is just perfect for an adorable girl kitty. It's funny that the pappa kitty was with the babies you found.

Do you have any pics of your kitties up? I do hope to get a few more of Gravy on here - he's just such a fluff ball - I'll give him lots of hugs from you!

I have more pics, just hit my avatar and click on Norskejente's pictures and another pic of spunky will appear. Then scroll down to under the bottom of pic to see all of Norskejente's pic. That will take you to just my pics instead of all the pics submitted to the Ballston Spa home page. Anyone can submit pics there and I have no clue who that women is? Those pics are just a few of the 24 that reside here. Anyway Benny (pappa kitty) stayed right there with all the kittens while momma was off somewhere. We never did catch her at that point. But I have since caught many ferals and I have no clue if that mamma was among them. At first we thought he was the mom until low and behold I took him in to be spayed? We never looked as the women down the street said it was a female so we took it for granted she knew. Pete called and said we are not doing a spay but a neuter and we both laughed so hard. Neither of us will live that one down. I had named her/him Penny until a discovery was made so we changed it to Benny. Funny thing is that he never responded to the name Penny! I wonder if he knew:) I love the name gravy as you can just eat that one right up. What a love!

All your pictures and cats are so cute! Thanks for sharing them.

The woman who initially rescued Gravy thought he was female but we had our suspicions and thought he was just fixed. It was hard to tell for sure with all that fluff! The vet determined he was a neutered male, so he only had to get his shots which he then had a bad reaction to - ran a fever & was flushed really pink. Poor guy needed a small dose of Benadryl - he scared us half to death and now his shots are spread out. He's a sensitive soul.

My daughter had named our Malamute "Biscuit", so after tossing around several names for "Kitty" (as he was known) we just thought that "Gravy" would go so well. He actually matches the dog in coloring and the gravy-colored fur on his back made the name work perfectly. My daughter than fancied up his name to Sir Graves for fun. All our pets seem to get multiple nicknames.

I just love to talk baby talk to Gravy and call him silly things like my budgey boo - he eats it up and lets me bury my face in his fur and give him kisses and hugs - I am smitten, I admit it. He has come so far from the skinny, terrified kitty of three years ago.

P.S. If I found a cat with kittens I would naturally believe that was the mother - good thing Benny took to his new name!
