Good Old Hucks

Fraser, MI

#1 Nov 28, 2009
Worked there when I was a kid. Best Frog Legs in the midwest. The "Hucks" Harold and Antoinette I think of them often, they were really good to me as I was growing up. Where is Linda and Christine?
Lot of the Greek waiters went on to own their own Resturants all over the city and in Canada. Those were the days...Long gone

Did you go upstairs for the wedding receptions? I used to work up there all the time

I worked there has a kid. The Huck's were a good family and treated me kindly. I washed dishes and bussed tables as well as catered parties at ShoreClub from around 1976 to 1979. One of the old waiters that I worked with currently lives in Blossom Heath Senior Center and looks the same as he did 30 years ago.

I worked for the Hucks in the mid 60s and came back for a few months in the mid 70s. If you used to work the upstairs do you remember going up and coming down with trays, and what about the secret liquor room. What was the waiters name was it "Harry" ? Sure would like to visit whoever it is..Was Ray still the office manager? He was a real character..great accountant though. In 1966 he asked me if he could take a few dollars out of my check every week to buy some stock in McDonalds...and I told him no of course..needed gas money to party...LOL Hope to see other people join up here and share some old good Huck's tales..of Jefferson Past...Where is Linda and Christine?
