I would like to know where this walking trail is in Simpsonville. I love to walk and there are few places to walk in this area that have a lot of trees. ChristopherSC can you help me out here? Or anyone else?

Hey Mishasmom It is not much of a walking trail any more. Meaning it is kind of hard to get around back there if you don't know where you are going and you could hurt yourself. But if you want to risk it then it is at the old simpsonville park the one by the police station. If you walk back down near the ball field you will see where you can enter from there. But like I said be careful if you do go cause about the only people that go back there now are kids. And there are drop offs that you could fall in too so if you decide to go then take some one with you. If you want a safer place to walk the only other place I know that is closer by would be cleveland park. You can walk all the way from cleveland park too falls park in greenville. That would be much safer and that is where I go too most often. You can't beat the view there if you never been. there is trees and water. And old bridges it is really pretty. I wish they did have some trails too walk on in simpsonville. When I lived in NJ I loved walking out in the trails next too are house. Was about the only thing good about NJ lol. Hope that helps

Hey thanks for the info. I have walked back there many times with my dogs. As you said, it kind of goes nowhere so it is not much of a walk, although it is nice to be in the woods. And IT IS kind of risky walking back there especially along the creek. I also like to walk at SouthSide Park in Mauldin. There is a nice trail there also if you are interested.
I used to live in Pittsburgh where there are a lot of trails all over and I miss having so many choices!
By the way, I love taking pictures too and have a Nikon SLR.I have taken a few classes through Tech and a photo school in the West End. Isn't it wonderful to see what you can capture on that camera??!!
Thanks again for the comments and the advisories on the trail.

Hey Mishasmom

Yeah I love takeing pictures and videos. I have a Cannon powerShot A720 lS.

And I use too go too SouthSide Park in Mauldin but have not been there in a few. I don't really remember a trail. Where about in the park would it be located at?

I like heritage park here in simpsonville. But I don't go there that often for walking because you can't have dogs in the park. And I take my dogs with me 90 percent of the time I go for walks. So if they are not welcome then I really don't want too go myself.
