The only ones that will benefit are the developers that are getting government money for these projects and the landowner where the wind turbine is installed. I have heard anywhere from $22,000 to $60,000 annually. The biggest crime is that the energy produced doesn't even stay in our area and benefit us. What about the value of our homes, do you want to buy a house in the shadows of a wind turbine? What about appearance, drive up to Pigeon and get a first hand look. There are wind monitoring towers up right now on Bradleyville road south of M-81. They have plans for 125 units in and around Denmark Township. If you don't want to live in a forest of Wind Turbines now is the time to speak up. Contact the Denmark Township supervisor Don Petro, or board member Wayne Bierlein before it is too late, right now the plan is to go ahead it, and of coarse why not the board members are landowners and will benefit from this.

Wow.. lets get real.. wind turbines are the wave of the future.. its a culture shock i know... but you really need to get over it.. they are creating jobs!!! You would be shocked how much the wealth spreads...farmers..manufacture rs.. vendors.. gas stations.. local restaurants and businesses.. the list goes on and on.. i know multiple landowners with turbines on their land and they say they are almost unnoticed after a while... its just another change for people to complain about.. it makes me sick.. how about the benefits over coal powered and nuclear plants?? And please dont bring up clean coal... thats a bunch of garbage... oil resources and coal may last far past our lifetime and possibly a couple generations.. but what about further down the line?? Dont be selffish.. we really need to go green.. and wind is the best source.. people always want change for the good.. well this is it.. learn to accept it.. and dont believe all the BS you hear.. its just a bunch people that have way too much time on their hands and are always looking for things to complain about.. please tell me a real reason why they shouldnt put them up? For every negative ill give you 3 positives.. give it a shot
