you know the former ceo jack welch used to always call pittsfield GE headquarters,he had a plastic house off to the left side of the bottom of ny ave.but anyways, jack wanted former mayor smith to lower the taxes on the buildings, property and land.but smith wouldnt budge, this is really stupid being a mayor and telling a huge company like GE stick it up his ass im not lowering taxes and look at what happened to GE and to pittsfield.jack unloaded GE from pittsfield and practically turned into a ghost town during the early-mid 1990s and downtown north st almost collapsed.but not only former mayor smith screw over pittsfield over GE,he stopped pyramid co from building the berkshire mall former england brothers and jj newberrys.then the idiot also stopped the funding to pontoosuc lake beach and completely ruined it.

Capitalism and the western way of thinking at it's best Independent, unbelievable! If China starts to live the way we have in as many decades then we will all be left holding the Ace of Spades.
