I often wonder how the whiteman would have done had the roles been reversed with either the Native Americans or the African Americans.

The first one's starved to death even though they claimed to be better farmers and had superior weapons to hunt with. Plus they had a big boat and tools. Slowly they took advantage of the Native Americans from the east coast to the west coast. Most of us were stuffed onto reservations in the poorest of areas.

They brought the slaves here and kept them uneducated and without much of anything for 200 years. Then they freed them and left them with nothing. It wasn't until the late 60's that the doors to many of the schools were opened up to them. 50 years later is forgotten history for the whiteman but very real history to the black man.

I have my doubts that the whiteman would like to trade places for the next 200 years and they have to learn a new language while being stripped of all culture and past life. I would suspect they would complain about one group having everything and them having nothing.

Well said. I couldn’t agree more. And since they (whites) have had an economic head-start, Native and African Americans have to be diligent at improving their status……educationally, economically, emotionally and for the future. Genocide is psychologically
damaging no matter how many years have pasted. I stress education as a means to beat them at their own game. Get educated, make money, then invest back into your community.
