I lived across the street from it and I bought pop there many times, I remember passing the gas pumps and seeing 29.9 cents a gallon for gas!!!

That explains the big Texaco sign out front....Sure glad they were able to save the place!
Radioman Lexington, KY	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #3 Sep 7, 2010 It's a rarity, in fact I sold a house in the 300 block of N. 8th Str. a few years back, lots of red tape to go through, now it's a shop...the area has changed so much in recent years, for the better.
