Orange Cove, CA - This now infamous Lopez DEAD ZONE was analyzed, reviewed and probably euthanized at the Feb 9, 2011, City Council. What a waste of $160,000 of RDA funds for site improvements.

Another infamous Lopez DEAD ZONE was analyzed, reviewed and probably euthanized at the Feb 9, 2011, City Council meeting.

This is the site of the proposed Lopez Bio-Diesel refining facility. The so-called 'investment group' was led by a Lopez fellow Board member at VSBIC.

A HUGE waste of City resources -- land sold at below market price and was never paid for AND $160,000 of RDA money for site improvements.

A HUGE waste of RDA resources.

Another example as to why the VOTERS made the wise choice in Nov 2010!!!

If you got a penny for every joke that spewed from your mouth, you would have possibly had a career. Eldon we all know it's a little late in the game for you, but get a life, whatever is left of it! Go on hospice already let it go. You will never take away all that mayor lopez has done for this city and this county, along with all the top leaders in this state and country.

JOKE??

What joke?

I personally don't see much humor in wasting $150,000 to $200,000 of TAXPAYER funds for a project that had minimal merit at inception.

First of all while i don't deny that the area you talk about is a dead zone with little growth over the years but lets set some things straight first...

The area in the picture is on Monson Ave. not Anchor Ave...

The are is in the 100 year flood zone which in turn increase the price of any development not only starting but in the future of reoccurring insurance costs.
