Amazing photo. I just came across this photo while doing some web searches for the Old Appleton Bridge and Mill. I also would like to do some research about the Old Appleton Brewery! Any ideas?

Can anyone tell me who started this photo gallery? It would be fun to dig out and share more photos. Unfortunately I am not the most computer literate person around!.
I am open to any ideas, or you can call me with your thoughts.

it's good to see at lease somebody is interested in the town. my dad's uncle owned the brewery for a while until the gangster McGovern tould him sell me your brewery or else! my dads uncle also owned the mill before that for a while, there name was meyer. my moms side was wucher grandpa owned the travern by the creek, &lived across the street from the old bank, the two story house also was the landmark of old Appleton. the same guy built the mill. I tried to buy my grandma house in 2008 to restore but was STABBED IN THE BACK .I hope there happy I only wish I knew what God's punishment was going to be & when. I shure would like to see it.

John/Dorth,
How can we hook up sometime and share some stories. THe names like Meyer, Wucher, etc all sound familiar. I once mowed the lawn for a Fedore Wucher across from the post office. Lots of mowing for a buck. Also my parents picked her up every Sunday and took her and a next door neighbor, Mary, to Mass.
