Not sure if this will appear on topix time line, this is comment on photo, if you dont see it, go to pictures section look for the maps posted. This would barely miss our neighbors house. Option A-1 would take out the old store at 1547 and the brick home. Option C would miss those, but would pass feet behind the Whites storage building behind store and take almost all of the double wide homes back yard. There should be open public meetings about this first. Construction is atleast 2 years away i do know that for sure.
unsure of route

Non has been decided yet this is still in planning stae, their no where near picking a route FYI even tho sum wanta start drama on here. Option B(see topix pictures for map image) would take out Rodgers car lot for sure, aswell as horse barn, and few feet of the house's yard next to Canoe Creek Rd. C would take 1 mobile home, or possibly non at all. This s best choice i think, it makes a straighter line towards Creston. I like fact there will be shoulders and a truck passing lane on the new Bell Hill highway. It WILL be discussed openly in public meetings in next year or so, just watch Casey News paper itll be posted i assure you. Hate to see people loose parts of their yard ect but itll be good over all for everyone, and generations to come.

I looked at areial maps. Option B would take out 3-5 homes a bottom of hill, and Rodgers car lotand of in line with A-1 at Whites would take store, brick home, and double wide. B would also wipe out house a top of Bell Hill, and the brick home just past it(where the little girl lost her life 2 years ago) I agree this also needs to be addressed due to these sad wrecks here. Option B,i do not like. C is my pick. Itll also be easier on those who live on Linnie Rheber Rd as itll cut hafe mile of winding road off for them and the crests.

no route had been decided. due to wrecks towards Creston and Clementsville it may end up being 2 phase project, which would upgrade highway 70 to a new route, with 8 ft shoulders and turn lanes in some spots. Crocketts 206 cud use turn lanes i agree. It will probaly follow ruff path of Old old Bell Hill rd but will be blasted, cut, and filled. Itll put construction workers to work for 2-4 years.

The white roads on map are county maintained roads. The yellow road is existing KY 70. Black lines show (not official yet) possible routes for engineers to study and design new roadway by scoping the land for cheapest, but fastest safest route.
