Don't think you will get any help from Halvorson. She's busy with being re-elected.

That's a big problem with our leaders. It's photo ops voice clips and when you really need them they quit answering their phones.

It's time we start letting "... we the people..." decide how our country is going to be run.
We need to do away with the professional politicians that are ruining the country for their own profit.
If twelve people can decide if a person lives or dies why can't "we the people" decide whether a public works project will proceed or not.
If a representative cross-section of the public were pooled to act as representatives for say 2-months a year, they could vote on the real issues that are affecting the state/country. For as long as the politicians spend actually doing something the 2-months may be too long.
We could change out representatives often enough that corruption of the representatives wouldn't work. Most of the politicians spend the vast majority of their time running for relection through photo ops and spend very little time affecting the issues. If like jury duty we pay the pooled individuals their usual wages instead of the 100's of thousands of dollars that we pay the professional politicians the savings alone would lower the taxpayers burden and put people back to work. Why can only a well connected politician decide whether a bridge needs to be rebuilt?
Just a thought.

Debbie Halvorson has been a waste.Once you get elected and go to Washington it's like winning the lottery. The hell with people back home, you gotta get to your next fund raiser. She is a prime example of what's wrong with our elected officials. ArcelorMittal likes to walk all over little people and congresswomen.
