Of course there's a water do you think mold gets its start? Water invading a food source (drywall, carpet, fiberglass, etc.)! Any home/building that has endured flooding has mold issues. These pictures are only showing what is would probably be shocking to see what's on the other side of these panels. IT'S A WONDERFUL THING THAT THESE OLD CONTAMINATED BUILDINGS ARE FINALLY BEING REPLACED. THE CHILDREN DESERVE THAT. IT'S TOO BAD THAT IHS WILL NOT EXIST, BUT AS FAR AS THE BUILDINGS - WAY OVERDUE!!!

Of course! And every building/home has at least some mold...that's normal. When it is toxic or at toxic levels, that's when there's problems. So hopefully care is taken with the ventilation system, insulation, and anything else that comes into play to minimize mold growth in the new buildings. And of course, the main thing is not to build in a flood zone!
