Did you know that back in the day that the middle section of this bridge would turn on a big gear and spin around as to let boats go by.

Yep bear. A very cool piece of history that will soon be like the Abbeville bridge and other "old school" landmarks that won't be around too much longer.

Did you know that they use to scrape the river and ships would pass through? There is some really great photos at the City Hall. They are all hanging on the walls. They also have the plans to reconstruct downtown and turn the old game room into a farmers market. And they want to put observation deck along the river and put trails to support camping.
