July 24, 2008 -- Over 15 trainees from the Hartford Jobs Funnel and the Laborers’– AGC Education and Training Fund’s Minority Outreach Program graduated today at the New England Laborers’ Training Academy in Pomfret, Connecticut. The individuals received their certificates for successfully completing the construction employment training program, a joint effort of the Connecticut Laborers’ and National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences.

i think this program is great!!! the laborers union is running a great program with others. there should be more job and training programs developed for our youth at this facility in pomfret. it seems like a big facility. are the mdc people using this too??? if so, they better get more employees out there.....there's a lot of work to do....
