the humane society is overran, there is not enough kennels to house all of the dogs. the person who posted this pic is mad b/c she lost her job as manager when she mistaked a dog for a coyote. have you been to the humane society lately? you would know how much hard work and effort the staff puts into keeping the animals clean, fed and taken care of on a daily basis. until you know the real story do not judge. if you want to help with the problem of the over pop of dogs, you can foster, adopt, be a volunteer and donate!!!!!

Yes Missy you are correct the shelter is overrun by animals. The shelter was not built to hold all the animals being brought in. While the ACOs have brought many in there have been owner turn-ins as well.

Go visit the shelter. Ask for a tour. There's usually a board member or two there on Monday or Wednesday evening, usually 5-6. I suggest you visit at that time to voice your concerns to them.

Monday being a state holiday may be a good time to visit also. I'm sure a board member or two will be there.

The staff are working so hard for the animals. I volunteer there walking dogs, etc. Please join us as we always need volunteers. There is always laundry because the staff members put blankets in all the kennels at night to keep the dogs warm, they could use help washing the food bowls and other things. Please consider becoming a volunteer. The animals would love you for it.

I don't know the staff at all, but I can't tell anything wrong from this picture. They do seem overrun. "KEN", if you have a solution, go down ther and tell them about it because I sure don't.
