SouthTown Flood at 8:00 am

My family and were affected by the flood we lived on Christie street. The water got three feet in our house. We lost all of our furniture, but we have been blessed tremendously, people have helped us in so many ways. We are in another home now and doing alright. We are very grateful to those who have helped and are praying for those that are still struggling.

Well, me and my husband live on Christie St. also. And we wasn't blessed with anything but our home back. We were flooded too. We haven't recieved anything at all from anyone. And I know several people that didn't live out here and has never lived out here, they got FEMA money. That really makes me sick. It's people like that, is the reason people like us don't get help when needed. But someday they will get their payback. And I'm not going to turn them in because it always comes back on me worst. I'm not a selfish person like those jerks. My mom and dad lost their house and all their belongings. And Fema wouldn't give them a penny. They really do suck. My mom even has a disabled granddaughter that she takes care of, with the help of a nurse every weekday. So after all the tears that mama shed, guess who is gonna help them rebuild their home. It is the United Way. They have been great. They lived on Circle Drive.Red Cross has helped her some also.
