If tis dog has not had proper care it should be rported to the Humane society.

I am so sick of people that have pets but don't take care of them.

Guess these dogs aren't pets but are being used as a doorbell or alarm system.

The City of Douglas and Coffee County both have animal control offices. They are completely seperate from the Douglas-Coffee County Humane Society. The HS contracts with the city and county to operate the shelter only. The appropriate course of action is to contact the appropriate animal control office, either city or county, depending on where these dogs are physically located. I'd also point out that animal control can only enforce the law, and the law does not require much care for animals. They must have food, water, shelter, and if tethered, the chain must be 8 or 10 feet long. That is it!

I AM SO UPSET TO SEE THESE PICTURES! Please tell us where these dogs are and I will make the call. If you know where this is and are not saying to me YOU ARE JUST AS GUILTY AS THE pos OWNERS! i hate people that mistreat animals.
