I hope this bridge falls and no one is on it or gets hurt just to listen to all the city of Dandridge folks say what they say best. We didn't need a bridge anyway, none of us ever cross it anyway. Why would anyone want to go on the other side.

Dear Sevier County, I live on the South side of this stupid Jeff co. Please come and take over us, we fully surrender to all the privileges that you provide for your residents.

What in the world came over you? Why would you be saying this kind of nonsense over and over? Obviously, you don't live across the bridge. A new wide bridge would only invite more traffic on that trecherous winding road, mostly heavy transportation, such as semi-trucks. That could and will, if happens, lead to a higher incidence of road accidents. I am not saying that I want an unsafe bridge, but they just got through repairing this one; it hasn't been a year yet.
Oh, would you like to add anything about the Red Lights downtown?

I hate those damn redlights more than jbh. I wish the dumbass who decided to create such a monument to stupidity and WASTE, had them up his fired ass !
I think a widened and rebuilt bridge would suffice for another 50 years or more, but no, some state government idiot will design a 7 lane bridge from hell, as useful as the south knoxville bridge!
And if I'm not asking too much a 6' wide pedestrian lane would be nice, unless it costs too much and then I don't care. And the red lights at food city suck too ! Any eighth grader could have done a better job.

Now we know the truth why city of dandridge fights against a new bridge, no truck traffic. Well there are still semi trucks traveling to and from Bush plant, just not heavy traffic. Have you met a truck on the bridge?
