When was this picture taken by the trail cam? This year or 5 years ago?

It would be very helpful if there was an object in the picture in order to determine the animals actual size. Since there is not, may I respectfully suggest something... If the friend could return to the exact spot and place the trail cam in the same position and allow the cam to take another picture, but next to the larger tree place a tape measure or a one gallon milk jug (something we all readily recognize the size) so there is something to compare the size of the cat to. Determining size is difficult when there is only a tree which I honestly can't determine if the tree is as big as a person's leg or as big around as a grown cow.

there wouldn't be no way senile to put it on that tree and the pic was taken last year it,s not no house cat if its a house cat it would have to be the world record

Again, I am not attempting to be disrespectful...but why not? Perhaps you misunderstood what I was trying to say.

Place the camera in the exact location that is was in last year. Facing the same way, with the same tree and water in the picture. But this time add a tape measure or milk jug for size comparison next to the tree. If the area has been logged and the tree itself is gone the jug could be set on top of the stump. As long as the same background and land and water is in the background we could get a perspective on the actual size of the animal.

The tree that the tip of the cats tail is closest to...it is difficult to decide how big of a tree it is.

Where exactly, or what area of Adair County was this pic taken?
