I agree clairton will always be home for me too and to me it's not the people that has lived in clairton their whole-life bad, BUT!! it is the people that has taken away all those jobs knocking things down, always talking about they were going to put something up in it's place, and "NEVER-DID" leaving hole after hole after hole in the city of clairton just like you all putting more polution in the air, not knowing how to stop it, clairton, can be put back on the map and the poisin can be taken, back out of the air people can be put back to work clairton RE-OPEN the Whole clairton Mill Stop the madness when you all took away you created poisin and the more you took the worse the air got in clairton.

The steel mill can never regain its previous momentum. The Japanese have created machinery/robots that can now do the work of men. So- work with the Japaneses . Get them to show us how to produce steel -but doing so at a cost effective level. The second option is to find a "green industry " to replace U.S.Steel. I hear there is a new gas fuel that can be obtained from the rocks of Pennsylvania. Clairton needs a new company to move in and take the place of the ols steel mill.THIRDLY- fIND OUT HOW BUSINESSES CAN BE FINANCED THROUGH THE FEDERAL SMALL BUSINESSS LOAN PROGRAM. sTOP BLAMING THE POOR . sTOP AGGRANDIZING THE CRIME.gET THE COMMUNITYU TO SUPPORT NEW BUSINESS.cLAIRTON, gLASSPORT AND MC KEESP[ORT NEED TO UNITE IN SOME KIND OF BUSINESS COALTION.tALK TO THE POLITICIANS.aCCENTUATE THE POSITIVE. eLIMINATE THE NEGATIVE. lATCH ON TO THE AFFIRMATIVE.Go Clairton.

Industries that rely on obsolete technology, depreciated asset and breakdown maintenance should not survive or be kept in business -- especially when they do so just some dirty union goons prefer conspiracy theories to progress. These people have sacraficed an entire region to such idiotic fanatsies so that they can make believe that they have REAL jobs -- when they survive entirely on government life support -- "live some place nice" and get drunk.

Sorry, but that is a "bum" by any standard with which I am familiar -- even if they do have union cards!
