This picture looks strange around the nose area. Too much photoshop?

ROFL! Stick to something you know something about. If you want to see PhotoShopping, go to "Jim Morris # 2."

You must really be old. I didn't even notice she had a nose.

I do know something about it, Hal. I have used photoshop software as have most people. You are not the only one with knowledge of photography or software that you can buy at any Wal-Mart.
I wonder if you are capable of anything other than a smarta** comment.

"Critic": I can assure you that, as a percentage of the population, even the population using digital photography, very few people have used PhotoShop -- certainly not "most people," as you allege. You are incorrect, and you know it.

One reason people do not use PhotoShop is because it is rather expensive in the "full-up" version. Another reason is that PhotoShop is not all that "user friendly," and it takes a certain amount of skill and experience to use it well. Many digital cameras come with relatively easy graphics-editor programs which are usually adequate for the average home photographer.

I have never seen PhotoShop at a Walmart, but I just looked it up on Walmart online, and they do sell a version of Photoshop Elements for $73. You can be sure this is NOT the "full-up" version of PhotoShop, which runs more like $700 or so.

So let's examine YOUR comment about April's photo. Just WHAT, pray tell, is "strange around the nose area." With all of your photo experience, this should be a slam-dunk for you.

We already know you enjoy criticizing Campbell photos posted on Topix, presumably to help photographers take better photos. Your classic remark was noting that Newspaper Girl's photo of Jim Morris was out of focus. I am sure Newspaper Girl had never noticed that before, and I am equally sure that will really help her to take better photos in the future.

I am also sure your criticism of April Scott's photo will help that professional photographer take better "nose" photos in the future, too!_8-)
