my family has lived in belmont for 100's of years!!! My grandfather bought land almost 60 years ago, he is a black man! do you know how hard it was for him to do that and he had enough land to sell and to leave to his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren! I am 26 years old and grew up in Belmont! i can not see a six lane highway in Belmont! taking out land or historic houses! I cant even think about the crime that can come from west Charlotte on this highway! just look at 85!!!! PLEASE TAKE THIS TAKE THIS INTO GREAT CONSIDERATION!!
MY IDEA IS TO ADD A LIGHT RAIL TRAIN LIKE CHARLOTTE! WE ALREADY HAVE TRAIN TRACKS! ADD PARK- IN- RIDES!! ITS CHEAPER AND WE DONT HAVE T KNOCK DOWN TREES OR HOUSES!!!

DONT LET THIS BE A FAST CHOICE!

ITS ALREADY EVIDENT THAT THE NEW HOUSES ON LOWER SOUTH POINT ROAD ARE GOING TO BE OK, BECAUSE THEY KEEP BUILDING!

I DROVE DOWN TUCKER ROAD! AND THER ISNT AS MANY HOUSES, AS WELL AS NEW HOPE ROAD BELOW DANIEL STOWE GARDENS!

THANK YOU ~ I HOPE YOU LISTEN! BELMONT WILL CHANGE FOREVER!

Thy Bard likes you. A Belmont Progeny.

Dear Madam you are a perfect example of how Belmont Children feel of her hearth.

Her CHildren go far but always remain close of heart to the warmth of her embrace.

Whazza up with all the angry women?

It seems the women are doing the fighting these days while the men do what?

I wouldn't want to be in the TOll Road Business these days.

As always you are swinging in the dark, a flailing, flopping and flattering swing it may be... it is still wrong for all to sing.

A dis for that, a dain for thee, i will pry thy eyes for you to see, never.

How very poetic of you BardDeGaston.

We have come to expect no less and no more.

For now I say we put aside this quibbling fued.
There are greater problems brewing about.
More important dragons at hand than slaying thy poor neighbor.
That we shall save for a rainy day.
