Paterson: NYS Will Be Broke Before Christmas-with video

God forbid we look at total state/local government employment and efficiency and it's unions... pensions and benefits!

Nope,they are to large of the voting block.

Don't mess with them.

Big difference from cutting spending and just switching it to local communities.

Maybe one day,government will be able to run like a successful business and not be a HUGE leach on its citizens.

New York is nothing but General Motors on steroids!

Soon it will be bankrupt, brought down by wasteful spending and incompetent state and local workers (who many get six paid weeks of vacation and don't pay any state taxes on their NYS pensions).

Closing budgets for more hospitals and education, while leaving the state worker numbers untouched in any serious count ... is insane!

New York State needs to wake up to what has already been a reality on the outside "real" world ... start laying off BLOATED NUMBERS OF STATE WORKERS and CUT WASTE. Something the state has been avoiding for decades.

I think I hear the "piper" coming .......
