2 This presidency is going to be too controversial internationally for Coulter to get a bite from Mrs Obama. Unless the Obama administration really goes in the opposite direction of its candicacy campaign, Coulter will be blowing in the wind. She won't get away with a second prsidential wifes book to buffer the bank account. |

4 I am actually disapointed with Rush Limbaugh. I would listent to him on occasion, and agree with him many times, but during the presidential election and afterwards I have seen sight tints of racism from him. For instance, when seaking about reverend Wright, he keeps the N-word but bleeps out G#$% D#$% America. Also the Barack the Magic Negro stuff. I am very disapointed with him and Ann Coulter. Michael Savage even from his first talk show has always playcated to "the angry white male", so now that Obama is elected, Savage will probably get more of an audience. I have listened to Savage and read one of his books he plays moderate on one show and extreme on another. I have seen this when he says on one show about Al-Queda being Wahabbi Islam, that most muslims that practice islam are good people and on another show blasts islam as a religion. There is one word for him: Hypocrite. I still have respect for Sean Hannity who has always been IMO fair, him and Michael Medved, and actually like their shows. Sean had had Condolezza Rice on his show and that right there tells me a lot about Hennidy. have called in on Medved's show and he is also very fair and enjoyed conversing with him. |

3 You were sounding quite rational, intelligent and informed until you reached this point in your post. Sean Hannity and "fair" cannot be used in the same sentence - at least not as a description of Sean. |

3 I have taken the time to listen to all the talk show hosts. Do I agree with them all the time, NO, but Sean Hennidity has been pretty good. Yes he is a republican, me I'm independent, but I like what he says. Now granted, I have been deployed, currently in Afghanistan, since the elections so I don't know what he is saying now. But I don't like the tints of racism I am seeing from Rush Lunbaugh and Ann Coulter. Now I understand republican raio hosts are always going to be critical of someone like Obama. they wouldn't have an audience if they didn't, but I say if you disagree with him, then be intellectual about it. Don't hide your racists attitudes among poliical double talk like Savage does. If you listen to Savage like I have you actually see in how he proposes "white suppremacy" on a world stage. Example: I remember listening to his show and agreed with a tactical nuclear weapon against Afghanistan. I'm currently in Afghanistan. When you see the kids here and the locals who are terrorised by the Taliban, and to hear people like him speak, you thank God he has no power in government. Believe it or not Barack Obama actually sides with the new warfare strategy COIN (counterinsurgency) even though he may not truly understand it. It's not bullets that will win this war, it's bridges, roads and economics. The Taliban want the people scared, the Afghan Police and Army disfunctional, so they can keep the people scared and under their control. Yes it does take infantry and military might for security, but security isn't enough. Bridges, Roads and Economics need to be set but to have it security needs to be there; and to have security it takes the American Infantry !!!! Hooaaahhh. Sorry about the monologue but people like Savage, Coulter, and now including Limbaugh do not understand this. The liberals don't either because they want bridges, roads and economics without the sacrfise of establishing security, but I thnk Obama understands the concept very well, which is why I hope he works with Gen. Patraeus, who is the architect of counterinsurgency (COIN). Listening to Savage, and Coulter, they have the "kill em all, let God sort em out" attitude which sounds sexy, but isn't realistic and is actually counterproductive to the War against terror. |

2 In her dress, speech and actions Mrs. Obama shows no signs of attempting to be a clone of the former First Lady. So the accusation is untrue. What IS TRUE, is that this is another bout of verbal diarrhea from Ann Coulter. Like a tabloid journalist, she makes her living being mean, erroneous, and nasty. Unfortunately for her, she will be only a footnote of our times. Mrs. Obama will forever be remembered, with a major part to play in helping her husband. All of the ink and hateful words in the world won't change that. |

1 Politics is war in another form, and if I was Michelle Obama, I would simply ignore her. If Coulter is ignored she will go further and further to get attention, which is what she wants. By not acknowledgeing her at all, it forces her to ask more and more extreme. With the Obama election the republicans are fighting among their moderates and conservative branches. So the more extreme she gets the more out of touch she will seem to her more moderate section and eventually ostracised. Michelle Obama doesn't have to do anything, and if I was her I wouldn't even give her the time of day. She is the first lady, like it or not. IMO I would like the see Michelle Obama focus on womens fitness. A good way to bridge the gap with the GOP would be to work with Arnold Schwartenegger on fitness and dieting. If no-one has noticed, the Obama's are actually very physically fit and probably the most physically fit couple ever in the white house. I say this because studies have shown that black women have are statistically 72% are overweight. Meaning over the BMI index. |
