With soaring fuel prices, peak oil and automation replacing military pilots in the next generation of military aircraft, I don't see much growth occuring in aviation anytime soon, regardless of ethnicity.
If a person had money to send their kid off to college, I'd look at what's forecasted to be the booming career markets of the future and aim in that direction. |

I've got a friend who an Aeronautic engineer and he tells me forget about the field if your black or even worse, a Muslim. He fits into both (almost like having a double strick against you). I got into the safest career out there, health care, and we do need black folks in this field it is just depression to be the only black person in the damn department.
