BS, what the hell is wrong with people? In 1986 Barrack Obama was only 25 years old, In 1984 Oprah had just moved to Chicago to start a low budget tv show AM Chicago, it went national in 1986 which is when you suppossedly left the church. She was at that time NOT the Oprah Winfrey that we know today and she did not at that time have anywhere near a national following. This is all made up and more smear propaganda against Obama and an attempt to drag Oprah into the mess.

but you believe the huffingtonpost crap about mccain voting democrat, right?

oprah WAS a member of the church ...(she already had a very successful radio show there by 84...) SHE was smart enough to realize wright was a lunatic... obama wasn't, OR obama held similar views...

In your dreams. You have no proof of why Oprah left the church. There is nothing in the article that his a direct quote from her. Saying what a "source close to Oprah" said and not naming the source is a journalist trick to avoid defamation accusations. Oprah didn't say this, end of story.

FYI, there aren't enough blacks in this country to elect any president. He's winning because whites are voting for him.

The only thing that is fact here is that if a white man running for office was sitting in a church and had his priest, bishop, rabi, etc had said things like what Wright said, he'd be forced from the race if not from his current office.

And Obama only recently stepped away from Wright because he just now finds what he says unacceptable-not for political gain. Yeah, right.

So what. Oprah is Oprah and Obama is Obama. Different lives and backgrounds. Oprah has been involved with Black churches all her life and Obama, I feel, was trying to find his place in his life. He felt some sort of connection, it just happened to be the wrong one. Let it go.

Your problem is that you're a product of self segration. There's a bigger world out there. If the majority was against Obama he would have never made it this far. Not only does he lead in the polls but the super delegates by MAJORITY support him.
