When snowboarding's super stars like Shaun White, Louie Vito and Mark McMorris perform insane freestyle tricks in the halfpipe, it's a soaring, exploding sight to behold.

Louie Vito won the Men's Snowboard Superpipe on his birthday, and Kaya Turski iwon her fourth straight Women's Ski Slopestyle title Thursday at X Games Tignes.

At roughly 600 feet long, with 22-foot-high walls and an 18-degree slope, riders are calling the Vail halfpipe build by Snow Park Technologies one of the best pipes they've ridden all year.

VAIL, Colorado - It's called a cab double cork 1440. And with one more 180-degree rotation, it's a more difficult and technical trick than Shaun White's "Double McTwist" 1260.
